Founded locally in 1969, Junior Achievement of East Tennessee serves students by providing a series of in-school, sequential economic, business, and free enterprise educational programs for grades K-12.

As of May 2007 JA has pledges of $5,048,000.00 toward building JA World and the JA BizTown program. This facility will provide 5th grade students throughout East Tennessee an opportunity to run a city for one day as a capstone to their in-class instruction about the economics of business. |
